Magnitude Response for a Reflector and an Occluder

Notes:

A relatively small occluder (a rectangular board of 40 by 90 cm) was

placed between microphone and speaker, either blocking the direct sound

path (occluding the sound source) or near the direct sound path (reflecting

the sound source). The figure shows the power spectra of the reflected and

the occluded sound, expressed relative to the power spectrum of the

unobstructed direct sound arriving at the microphone.
