Movies

Color Fringe

3-D representation of load over occlusal surface of molar teeth during grinding. Colors between red and yellow correspond to highest load. Movie (mpeg, gzip, 1.9M bytes)

Distance Map

Maps of distance between opponent left molar teeth during grinding. Colors between red and yellow correspond to distance below 1mm. Contact between surfaces is pure red. Movie (mpeg, gzip, 2.2M bytes)

Load Distribution

Dynamic changes of load over occlusal surface of upper molar teeth during grinding. Colors between red and yellow correspond to highest load. Movie (mpeg, gzip, 2.3M bytes)

Human Jaws Articulation

The shape of teeth and trajectories of lower jaw motion are found from measurement. The motion is slowed down ten times compared to real-world motion. Movie (mpeg, gzip, 1.3M bytes)

VRML-Report example

To exploit the VRML report example you need to have a VRML browser. If you don't have access yet, look into the following section. The data set is reduced by factor 5. For our experiments described in the text we used the full resolution.
